| Painting the indisputable like the poet writes. To abandon oneself like the child does with confidence. Once "mature" this is an almost impossible mission. The indisputable shocks and the confidence is naive. It is in an esthetic process inspired by real-life that I reveal some visions and dreams hidden deep within me. My paintings often emerge from the fact that I cannot speak about certain things and feelings, sometimes I just want to depict reality my own way. Therefore there is always two facts transcending my art: solitude and timelessness. It is sometimes with my rebel soul but it is mostly with my childlike heart that I try to reach people through my work. |
